This morning I made pancakes really quick and messed up and turned it into a kitty! Lol

Happy Birthday Kiersten!

We rented a bounch house for Kiersten's 7th birthday.  She had so much fun! This is them getting it set up.

Ok this one really got me! This is Kiersten wiping away the red frosting off her arm.  Cindy thought it would be funny to trick me. :) She came running inside and said "Shela you really need to get your first aid kit Kiersten really hurt her arm!" I come running outside and it was super dark red frosting all over her arm. My heart dropped and then I realized it was only frosting! It was so funny cause Cindy tricked all the guys inside too! Very nice trick! Super funny!

Here is a funny picture of Madison and I in the bounce house.  I am bouncing off the wall and Madison is running!  It's so fun to jump! After most of the kids left we all took turns bouncing in it!

The News!

Krem 2 News out of Spokane put my rain bow picture on the morning news! I walked into the living room at the perfect time to hear my name and see the rainbow picture across the big screen TV! Too funny!!!! And of course everyone was still sleeping so I had to take a picture and share with all of you!

Fun Weekend

This weekend was filled with adventure! We went to the Tri-Cities to look at some homes and had to stop by the park. Kiersten begged me to go to the duck pond so we went shortly. I'm not the biggest bird lover out there so we only stayed for like five minutes. (Party pooper mom) I know! I think I was more afraid of getting pooped on by a bird. LOL! And we didn't bring a loaf of bread to feed them. I felt bad. The geese and ducks and whatever else kinds of birds were out there were fearless of humans. They just waddle right on up to you and wait for you to feed them like a bunch of begging dogs! After our wonderful Tri-Cities excursion we stayed home Sunday and had a cleaning day. Kiersten helped me clean some windows and Sommer actually helped clean her room. :) then the weather was so exciting to watch all day too. We had a fantastic rainbow and rain with sunshine. Love it when that happens. I even sent the rainbow picture into the news we watch in the morning. Lol. I'm a dork I know. We had a fun filled weekend hope you did too!

Weather

I love the spring and summer because of the weather. When it gets warmer and we start to have thunder storms it's so exciting to watch them from our window or porch! We are so lucky to live in this part of the country because we truly do get all four seasons. It's always fun to watch storms with the girls because its either a first or tons of questions. Questions I don't even know the answer to. Lol! That's when we google it or something. Anyway can't wait for the next one! Or sunny weather!!!

Sunday rest

We have had a nice relaxing weekend. Movie watching and games. I also tried a few new things cooking. The other morning Kurt and I were watching the news and saw this recipe for this feta cheese spread so I tied it. And I love it. And I can't stop eating it! Lol!

Hoops anyone?!

With all this nice weather we decided to get a basketball hoop. Well Kurt decided. Lol. We have been saving for one and we finally got it. If you have never bought one and put it together before make sure you read the instructions very carefully. It was pretty complicated. Kind of like putting together a brand new bar-b-que. Anyway Kiersten loves it. She keeps saying its her new favorite sport. Sommer like to chase the ball for you. She found something more interesting to play with that afternoon. She found the broken rake and used it to rake the leaves out of the gravel. She was so cute in her little dress. With the new basketball hoop up the family has been spending more time outside and away from the television and that is great!

The Croods

We went to see a movie today. The Croods! It was a really cute movie. It had the voices of Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds in it. Kiersten loved it and I'm sure Sommer would have liked it. She was too busy moving from chair to chair and talking so Kurt and I took turns with her in the hall. This was the first movie at the theatre that she hasn't been an angel for. I think she is just at a busy stage. Other than that we had a great evening.
