More pictures from the vacation.

Look at me with Sheriff! Too funny! We look so goofy running on the beach!

Don't worry, Sommer's not actually falling down the stairs... my children are professional stunt devils! LOL

We watched the Para Gliders land on the beach. It was so cool to see.

Riding the baby loaf at the cheese factory!

Another beautiful view from Cape Meres.

Walking the beach in the morning at low tide was so fun. I was always hoping to find something from the Japanese Tsunami. Apparently one of the guests who stayed in the house just before us found a Japanese pen on the beach.

Easter Pictures, Trying to get Sommer to sit still was a chore.

Sheriff, Kurt and the Tinkerbell blanket! HAHAHA! They crack me up!

Lolly Pop! Yum!

Family Vacation!

We took a small family vacation to Oceanside Oregon. It was such a beautiful small town 9 miles west of Tillamook and 2 miles north of Netarts. We stayed in one of the two original homes there in Oceanside. The house was so interesting, it had a lot of the original owners family history. We visited Cape Meres state park and lighthouse, the Tillamook Cheese factory (no pictures yet), the beach, a cave, and took the kids swimming at the Ashley Inn in Tillamook.  The house we stayed at was fully equipped with everything we needed (house wide). Kurt's parents went with us and we all had a blast! We cooked a wonderful Easter dinner and just enjoyed the time we had together! The girls thought it was so cool to be on the beach. Sommer would say "the waters coming" every time the tide would come in. Sheriff became a small town celebrity there in Oceanside, as it only took one walk through town and everyone knew his name. Just about everyone we walked by either wanted to pet him or introduce their dog to him. All in all Sheriff was a pretty good dog this trip. It was the perfect little get away with the family.

Oceanside Oregon.

View from the cave coming out

View of the cave going in.

The beach on the other side of the cave at low tide. We had to be carful of when we went through the cave because at high tide the cave sometimes can get filled up.

This is one of the views from Cape Meres state park. It was such a beautiful day!

Another view from Cape Meres.

This is the Octopus tree at the Cape Meres state park.

Cape Meres Light house.  It was so warm it was kind of miserable in the lighthouse because the flies were so bad. The light house stairs were closed so we couldn't walk up to the top.

This was on the way to Oregon, Stone Henge. Just outside of Goldendale. It had beautiful views too!!!

Starfish

And our wonderful travel buddies...... Nana and Papa!!! We had a wonderful time with them.

"Baby Carter"

Above you can watch Sommer look at Baby Carter's Birth announcement.  The other day she was pointing at the fridge and saying "awe baby carter!" In her little toddler language.  It is sooo cute! Turn your volume up and listen, its so fun!
