Moses Lake Spring Fest!

Kiersten was invited to ride on the National America Miss truck for the parade. My niece Madison won National cover girl title for the pageant. She's grown up so much! I think Madison was supposed to be in the parade for three different things but had to choose one. Anyway we had a great day! My sister had two kids in the parade so it was fun to see them all. Earlier in the day they all performed at the amphitheater in the park for dance, tap, clog, and gymnastics. Then Madison was the trophy girl at the car show. She also was Miss Moses Lake so that's what the picture is below. Emily to the right of her is in her dance costume. See the picture below of the girls getting ready. :) Sommer did so well. She lasted all day without a nap and then fell asleep five minutes into the parade. It was a moonlight parade so all the floats had lights.

Riding

Well we took a trip to Oma and Papa Fred's the other weekend. The girls had an exciting time riding the lawn mower and Kiersten had a small adventure on papa's motorcycle. We weren't prepared for this so she didn't go far. She had flip flops on so maybe next time we will make sure she's has boots in the car and pants. She had so much fun though! Thanks Papa Fred!!!! I'm so thankful for all the fun adventures the kids get to go on with our family. It's these things they will remember. :)

Trip to Grandpa and Grandma's house

Kiersten loves going to Grandpa Berry's house because she loves going out to see the horses.  She fed them and got to pet them too! We don't get to be around farm animals too much so it's so special when the girls get a chance to be around them!  Kiersten even asked Grandpa if she could drive the tracker. It was pretty cute. The older she gets the more exciting things like this become. What a special time. We had a wonderful visit with Grandpa and Grandma. This one brown horse loved to be pet and fed.  I loved it just as much as Kiersten. LOL

Lost a tooth!

Kiersten's first lost tooth. Well I guess it's technically her first pulled tooth since I pulled it out! Ha! It was hanging there for two days just barely hanging on and I said let's just pull it out. She didn't even hesitate. She didn't even know I had pulled it. She thought we would have to try again. Needless to say she was really easy to put to bed. :)
