Daddy's Helpers!

Today Kurt called me and said Kiersten dressed herself. Tie-die and plaid... you can tell she's my daughter! Funny!! Well anyway the girls were helping Kurt clean the garage or maybe just keeping him company. :) The middle school's marching band was out today and Kiersten was out there dancing her little heart away. Sommer loves her walker when she's outside. She also cut two teeth already!! I can't believe it. The bottom two are poking through and it just is so weird to me because Kiersten was toothless until after her first birthday. It is so much fun watching them grow and play together.

Kiersten's First Day of Preschool!

The first day of preschool was so exciting. Yes I know its only preschool but Kiersten had a blast!!! The look on her face when I dropped her off was unforgettable. I think I might be more excited about it than her. They just grow up too darn fast! :)

First Watermelon!!!

We went to a Bar-B-Q and had a wonderful time! I turned around and caught Kurt feeding Sommer her first bite/taste of watermelon! She loved it!

Growing so fast!

Kiersten just turned four and Sommer is growing so fast! She is finally sleeping through the night! Yay!

Sunshine and Video Games!

So today was a beautiful day outside and it looks like it will only get better! Hopefully sunny for Kiersten birthday party. Well anyway the girls and I went outside to get some sun. I attempted to take pictures of both girls together but the sun was bright and all I got was squinty eyes. So Kiersten got her picture taken and it turned out really cute.

Then I found Sommer holding on to her binky with both hands, it was so cute. Kurt was holding while playing video games. It was pretty cute. She's getting so strong now with holding up her head. They were both totally into the TV. Like father like daughter. :)

Sister Love!

Kiersten loves trying to make Sommer smile. It is so fun to watch them grow and change together!

Bed Time Cap

My Oma (grandma in German) is always knitting things for the girls. Well we took out a cute little snow hat for Sommer because it was super windy the other day and Kiersten found it and put it on right before bed. She said it was her sleeping cap and she couldn't go to bed without it! It was so funny and she actually went to bed with it on her head. The things kids do... Super Cute!!!

Easter Girls!

We went to Goldendale to visit family for Easter. Kiersten had a blast with her cousins and they looked super cute in their dresses!! We painted eggs, ate a great big Easter breakfast that was super good and hunted eggs! We had a great time!

A Week WIth Daddy!

So this week was my first week back to work... :( Kurt took this week off which was nice because I don't have to worry really. But I sure do miss the girls. He sends me pictures sometimes to let me know what they are doing. One picture is super funny, Kiersten dressed herself and then played school. The next one they took a trip to the park and Kiersten always loves playing on the toys.

Slumber Party Time!

Movie time with the dog! We watched Matilda and Sheriff thought he would plop down on the blanket I put on the floor for the girls. He just wants to be your best friend! Kiersten was so excited to have her cousins over.

House cleaning!

I figured out a way to get some help with the laundry. Kiersten loves folding little towels so i just pile them up for her and she sits there and folds all the kitchen towels! Yay!!! She even puts them in the kitchen for me. She has been such a great big help since Sommer was born!

SpoungeBob and Gary

Kiersten is always drawing pictures of our family or rainbows or something fun. Well yesterday I looked on the counter and there was a perfect spounge bob and his pet snail Gary! I was suprised! It is a pretty good drawing!

Pizza! Pizza!

Today we made home made pizza! (With home made crust) All Kiersten wanted to do was eat the toppings before they went on the pizza. Shredded cheese and pepperoni...yummy!!!

Mr. Bubbles

Well it looks like bubbles are not only fun for kids but dogs too! Sheriff was super excited to pop bubbles just like Kiersten. It was so cute! What beautiful weather we have been enjoying! Lets keep it for Easter!!!

Mr. Potato Head!

We had a fun little weekend with a family Kurt met in the academy! They had a daughter the same age as Kiersten so they were up all night playing... well Kiersten walked around the house with Mr. Potato Heads glasses like she was little miss librarian! It was so funny!!!!

Baby Faces

My favorite thing is to see all the different faces that your baby makes while he/she is a newborn. From the ohhhhh face to the grumpy old man face they are so cute to me. Sommer does the pouty bottom lip occasionally or the big yawn. But my all time favorite is when she smiles! I tried to capture all the faces.

Cupcake Face!

Kiersten's favorite thing to make and eat... CUPCAKES! We went to my nephew's first birthday and the girls got to decorate and eat their own cupcake.

Our beautiful Great Dane is our number one princess! He is definitely a gentle giant!

Kiersten got a princess tent for Christmas this year and look who's dog house it turned into... He loves that thing and sleeps in it sometimes!
