Weekend Fun!

Kiersten had her spring piano recital. She did great! Didn't even mess up once. She was super excited. 

Then Badger Mountain had their end of the year celebration. These girls were dancing most of the time.  I can already tell they will be the dancing queens!

And finally we got to enjoy some fresh watermelon at Angela's house! It was Elijah's birthday so they had a fun time making lanterns out of construction paper and shooting each other with water guns. :)

Memorial Day Family Fun!

Monday, Memorial Day Kurt snuck out and got the kids a trampoline! They were outside for ever playing on it.  Glad I was there to read the instructions and tell him what to do lol. Now the kids have no excuse to not to want to play outside. We kicked off the night with some wonderful BBQ steaks! 

Peanut Butter!

Peanut butter never goes to waste in this house.  At the end of the jar we give it to Sheriff as a treat.  He never get people food so this is his favorite! Oh and the occasional stick of butter he will swipe from the counter! Lol got to love this dog!!!

First Raspberry of the year!

Sommer had been anxiously waiting to pick this one raspberry that has been ripening on the vine this week.  She asked every morning and night if it was ready.  Well today it was ready so she picked it and ate it! 

Hope we get tons of raspberries. Kurt planted a few more plants in the patch.  I'm sure they will grow like weeds!  

Mothers Day Cake

Every year on Mother's Day Kurt makes me a Mother's Day cake and the girls decorate it. This year it was a blue velvet cake.  Yum!!!!!! 

Safe Kids Saturday!

We went to Kadlecs safe kids Saturday's event. It was an event free to the public promoting safe kids.  The girls got to tour fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, and play a bunch of games for candy and prizes.  My friend Kelly had a booth there and we put the girls to work! Kiersten and Sommer guided kids to play the bean bag toss and then gave them a frisbee and candy for Kelly's coalition. What a fun morning!!!!!! 

Park Time!

We met some friends at Howard Amon Park the other day and got a lovely surprise from some geese.  Pretty cute! Then the Queen of the West was docked there. It is always pretty cool to see the cruise ship docked there.  

Quilting!

Sommer's blanket is finally done!

And baby BOY Berry's blanket is done too! Slowly getting his room ready for his arrival in August! 

Softball Time!

Kiersten started softball this week.  She played as catcher and second base. What a perfect day!!!!
