We went to the Hobby Lobby the other day and Kurt found rubber-band airplane! It was so fun to fly them with the girls at the school. Kurt remembers flying them when he was a little boy. Its always fun to see your children so happy over the simplest little thing. :)
Since we have so many wonderful people in our lives that are Grandparents to Kiersten and Sommer we thought we would post this wonderful piece of art work Kiersten made in school. Thank you to all for everything you have done! We appreciate everything and just want to say we love you! The card reads: These little hands can wave hello Or put smudges on the wall They can fold in prayer, throw a kiss Or reach up so very tall.... They'll clasp your hand for a little stroll Or shape a ball from clay.... But most of all, they'll stay with you When I'm grown up and far away!
We got lucky! These were last years Pageant shirts but they were selling them for 5 bucks! WaHoooooo! Kiersten got one and she thought she was part of the whole thing!!
We had to stand in line to get into the ballroom and "double trouble" (Kiersten and Emily) had so much fun. They had a little too much fun and we had to separate them. :) They are so much alike and its so fun to see them grow up together!
Emily did so wonderful! She has got so much confidence! We were sitting there in the audience and Emily came on stage to preform her talent and Kiersten just about went crazy! She was screaming "go Emily" and cheering for her. We sat in the middle but no one sat behind us so I let Kiersten stand on a chair so she could see. They were both in heaven! The girls had so much fun. Luckily Kurt took Sommer back to Aunt Brandy's hotel cause I don't think a one year old would have made through that busy crazy day! Oh but it was so nice to see the girls all dressed up. :)
