New Outside Toy!

Someone at work told me the best outside toy for little kids are those balls that they sell at walmart. The jumbo size balls. The kids loved them and kept them very well entertained all afternoon while I cleaned up after the dog outside and racked pine cones! Now we just have to remember to bring them in after we are done playing so the wind doesn't blow them away.

No they are not moldy! LOL We made green chocolate chip cookies for school and daycare! The kids loved them!

A Blast From The Past!

The other day Kurt was going through old boxes and found a very memorable toy. He said he wanted this toy so bad and when he finally got it he was so excited. He took really good care of it because it looks brand new still and no pieces are missing. He had fun playing with it.

These were taken a few weeks ago when the sun played peek-a-bo with us. We can't wait for the sun to stay! We are getting spring fever early!

Warrior Dash!

I was invited to join a team of girls to run in the Warrior Dash this July in North Bend.  I looked into it on their website www.warriordash.com and I am totally in! I am so pumped for this race. I started training for it with some advise from my sister in law. I down loaded the "couch to 5k" app on my phone and started the run one day rest one day training. Everything was going really good until everyone in the family got sick! Including me! But I am still pumped for it so I am prepared to start running again once I can breath. I will have more updates about the dash when it gets closer. Super excited though!

Oma and Papa Freds!

We had a wonderful time the other weekend, the girls and I.  We took a trip to Oma and Papa Fred's to visit and test out there newly redecorated guest room! So nice! I love it up there because if feels like your in the mountains, well you are, but it really is so beautiful.
